Mt. Shasta: July 2023

This summer, the San Francisco Water Polo Club’s U18 co-ed team had the incredible opportunity to participate in a water polo camp at the picturesque Mt. Shasta. Set against the backdrop of Northern California’s natural beauty, the camp provided a unique environment for the players to refine their skills, bond as a team, and take their game to the next level.

The camp was a blend of intense training sessions and team-building activities, offering a perfect balance of competition and camaraderie. The players worked on advanced techniques, game strategy, and conditioning, all while enjoying the stunning outdoor setting. In addition to the practice sessions, the team hiked the surrounding trails and took part in group exercises that strengthened their teamwork and communication.

Coaches emphasized personal development, both in the water and as leaders, which resonated with the players. The U18 co-ed team came away from the camp not only more prepared for the upcoming season but also more connected as a unit.

This experience at Mt. Shasta was more than just a training camp—it was an unforgettable week of growth, both individually and collectively, that will leave a lasting impact on the team.
